"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." ~Gordon B. Hinckley
As usual, a good portion of June is devoted to WORKSHOP. This year the kids had shows two night in a row, which was kinda fun. After the show the first night we went to celebrate with their #1 fan (daddy) at Nielsen's Custard. He was VERY good and brought them flowers and chocolates and all the things that adoring fans SHOULD be bringing! Ü You don't ever see me, but thats me on the piano as the musical director. My good friend Sanya came to our show the 2nd night. Afterwards the 4 of us went to Mimi's Cafe and went CRAZY trying almost EVERY dessert in the place!!!
Daddy was tasked with videoing WHILST Miss Waverly was on his lap. These are the songs that the kids had solos in or they were most PROUD of...
We have been married for 13 years, with three precious kiddies to show for it. I am basically a SAHM, but with teaching Let's Play Music and running Musical Theatre workshops at MCC during the summers, it is music 24/7 at our house! And yes, there is always Something Fischy goin' on.
There is something wonderful about a book.
We can pick it up. We can heft it. We can read it. We can set it down. We can think of what we have read. It does something for us.
We can share minds, great actions, and great undertakings in the pages of a book.
