"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." ~Gordon B. Hinckley

The end of a Season

Yesterday was the end of our very first season of tee ball. It was a really good experience for Laetner to go through. A huge thanks need to go out to the coaches especially Coach Dewy, for all of the time and effort that they put into these boys this season. Laetner really has come a long way!

One of the best parts about this season is that we got to be on the same team with our best bud and cousin Crew Bob! Photobucket

And of course we learned all of our basic skills like ......

fielding a grounder,

stepping and throwing,

hitting,

running to first,

watching mom and dad on the first base line while running to first,

playing with your shadow by placing glove on head and twisting body in varying positions, instead of watching the ball,

and last but not least,

learning what all baseball players seem to acquire without any practice at all. The innate ability to 'rearrange' yourself when the camera IS watching.

Definitely my husbands child!!

What a great season. We ended it with a family pizza party where they handed out trophies and cupcakes with their jersey numbers on it.
GO SHARKS!!!

Love the glove on the head.... I hear that helps the concentration!
