"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." ~Gordon B. Hinckley

Teacher Gifts

Most years I try to come up with what I THINK are pretty creative ideas for teacher and neighbor gifts.

This year, the inspiration just wasn't coming!

What to do, what to do?

Someone dropped us a plate of goodies, one of which was a very yummy chocolate dipped oreo. Hmmm... I should be able to reproduce that, right? It was a group effort, Delainee and Laetner each had their own bowl of little candy melts---a very UNNATURAL looking green, and we busted out quite a few little teacher gifts.

Waverly was especially helpful once the older kids had gone to bed and it was time to package everything up!

Hey at least it was semi-homemade!
